It was the week before Christmas..........

Here are this week's certificate winners. I know how please the children are to share their achievements with you. Thank you to all those who were able to come to assembly this week.

Have you seen Ravensfield's centre spread in the Recorder which came out yesterday (19th)? We were able to give out lots of copies so hopefully you have had yours. Well done to our fantastic newspaper club who wrote all the articles in it. They are fantastic journalists!

A big well done also to the children who danced at Kenyon House this week. I know you had a great time and behaved so well. We're really proud of you all.

Thank you

We have received a thank you card from the Moravian Church this week. The food you donated at the harvest festival has made a number of food hampers which have been given to local families. Thank you again for your donations last October. You have clearly made a big difference to local families this Christmas.

Reverend Karl from St Mark's Church would like me to pass on his warmest thanks for the donations given at the recent Christingle service. You donated £66.16 in total and this has all gone to the Children's Society to help children in need this Christmas.

On behalf of all our children, thank you to our PTFA for the books which they were able to buy for every child. Thank you also to Father Christmas who was able to take some time out of his busy schedule to visit us and hand out the gifts.

Thank you to staff here at school for making the children's Christmas parties so much fun this week and for working so hard all term. I know children appreciate your care and dedication.

Things to do this holiday

We are sending home some 'Christmas activities' which the children may like to do over the holidays. These will be worth credits towards Children's University graduation in the summer so worth doing if you get the chance.

all that remains is for me to wish you all a very happy Christmas to those who celebrate and all the very best for the new year. See you all in 2020.
