Every year the Local Authority asks parents of children with Special Education Needs to complete a survey about how Tameside are supporting them.

They use this to improve integrated support and services for children and young people with special educational and/or disabilities (SEND). One priority is to develop a shared vision on integrated support, to ensure best use of all available resources to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and their families. Critical to this is learning from families about their lived experience of current services and support and ideas for how these could be improved in order to steer the future vision and plans and offer the best level of support right here, right now.

The survey is open now and closes on Friday 9th October.
