Year 5 Cooking Club Spring 2016

 

The club is run by Mrs Plackett and the school cook Mrs Farrar

 

The cooking club meets every Thursday after school from 3.15 to 4.30pm. The children are learning new cooking skills each week including how to prepare vegetables correctly, weighing, measuring, mixing, rubbing-in method and how to follow a recipe. The pictures below show the children preparing scones to be frozen, ready for an afternoon tea event being held in school for the Year 3 & 4 parents as part of Mothers' Day.
