My name is Mrs Plackett and thank you for visiting class 5’s page. Children in this class are in year 3 and what an interesting year that is to be in with so many exciting opportunities and lessons to be learnt. They have just entered into Key stage 2 and throughout this year I hope the children will learn, grow and succeed in all they do and I will do my upmost to support them in all areas of the curriculum.
Nevertheless, help from home is also highly essential; therefore, please help your child with any reading, homework they are given, spellings and timetables because even five minutes a night can make a difference.
I’m always here to help with any queries you might have at the end of the school day.
Please make sure your child has the correct kit in school at all times and if your child has their ear’s pierced make sure they can either take the earrings out or they aren’t in on P.E days (Monday and Thursday).
Homework will go out once a week consisting of a piece of maths and English. Homework is normally is given out on a Wednesday and needs to be back into school no later than Monday to enable it to be marked and the new homework put into their books.
